Built to ship faster without cutting corners.

AI-assisted development

Most “AI-built” code looks fine until someone has to maintain it: inconsistent patterns, no typing, security holes nobody reviewed. We use Claude inside our own curated, heavily-tested codebase, bound by the same conventions, rules and automated checks every one of our developers works to. The result is AI that speeds up the parts that are genuinely repetitive, and a human who reviews, tests and ships everything that goes out the door.

AI-ASSISTED DEVELOPMENT

AI that works inside our codebase, not around it

Letting an AI model loose on a prompt with no guardrails is how you end up with a site that works today and breaks in six months. We don’t do that. Every project starts from a boilerplate we’ve built and refined over years: typed code, tested patterns, and a service-provider architecture that keeps business logic out of templates. Claude works inside that structure, not instead of it.

That means AI gets used for what it’s actually good at: scaffolding repetitive code, drafting first-pass implementations, catching obvious mistakes early, so our developers spend their time on the decisions that actually need a human: architecture, security, and whether a shortcut is worth the trade-off.

01

A curated boilerplate, not a blank prompt

Claude builds inside our own PSR-4 structure, service providers and Action pattern, so the output already matches how the rest of the codebase is built.

02

Static analysis as a guardrail

PHPStan and Rector run against every change, catching type errors and outdated patterns before a human even looks at the diff.

03

Formatting and typo checks

Pint, Peck and oxlint/oxfmt enforce the same formatting and spelling standards whether the code was written by a developer or drafted with AI.

04

A human reviews everything that ships

No AI-generated code goes live without a developer reading it, testing it, and taking responsibility for it, same as any other pull request.

05

Faster delivery, same standards

The boring, repetitive parts of a build get faster. The standard of what we ship doesn’t move.

HOW WE USE IT

From rules to release

01

Define the rules

Coding standards, architecture patterns and tooling (Pint, PHPStan, Rector, Peck) are set once, upfront, and documented so AI and humans build to the same spec.

02

Scaffold with Claude

Repetitive, well-defined work (CRUD scaffolding, template parts, first-pass components) gets drafted fast, inside the existing patterns.

03

Automated checks

Every change runs through static analysis, formatting and linting before it’s considered done, catching the kind of mistakes a rushed AI pass tends to make.

04

Human review and ship

A developer reads the diff, tests it, and signs off. AI drafts; people decide what goes live.

This isn’t a separate product, it’s how we build everything. The same rules and tooling apply whether you’re after a WordPress website, a Shopify store, or ongoing hosting and maintenance. AI speeds up the build; it doesn’t change what we’re willing to put our name to.

AI development, answered

Does AI-generated code go live without anyone checking it?

No. Every change, AI-assisted or not, is reviewed and tested by a developer before it ships. Nothing goes live on a pull request nobody read.

Will my codebase end up full of "AI slop"?

No, because Claude works inside our existing boilerplate and conventions, not a blank file. Static analysis and linting catch the kind of inconsistent, untyped code that AI tools produce when left unsupervised.

What stops the AI ignoring your coding standards?

The same tooling that catches a human doing it: Pint, PHPStan, Rector and Peck run against every change regardless of who, or what, wrote it.

Do you use AI on every project?

Where it genuinely speeds things up without touching architecture or security decisions, yes. Where a project needs a developer’s judgement from the first line, it gets one.

Can this work on an existing codebase, not just new builds?

Yes. The same rules apply: we work inside your existing structure and standards, we don’t rewrite your codebase to make it easier for an AI to work in.

Want AI that makes your build faster, not messier?

Let's build something Rate Good, with AI that knows the rules.

Tell us what you're building and we'll show you exactly where AI speeds things up, and where we don't let it near the keyboard.
